Most of these bamboos are timber bamboos (reach around 4 inches in diameter). I use the canes to build furniture and harvest the fresh shoots in the spring (for about 10 weeks). There are quite a few larger trees on this tract. Mostly Red Oak, Pin Oak, Elm, Hackberry, Sweet gum and quite a bit of Pine. There are parts that have some Tallow trees but I've been trying to get rid of them. There's quite a bit of privet hedge which the goats love.

This is the asphalt culvert/driveway entrance to this 10 acres (Lot 1). It has never been used and does not have a gate. This tract has a lot of Grey Henon bamboo.....reaches over 4 inches in diameter but it started flowering this spring. Bamboos flower about every 100 years and the whole grove eventually dies out. This is my first variety that has flowered so I'm not sure how much longer it will
